Rules

• This game is designed for fun and friendly competition—so play fair and enjoy yourself.

• Teams may consist of no more than eight (8) players.

• The use of web-enabled devices (including cell phones) is not allowed during play.

• Judges’ decisions are final.

Confidence Scale

• Each answer must be assigned a confidence rating from 10 to 1.

• Each number can be used only once per round.

• 10 represents the highest level of confidence in an answer.

League Play

• This is a league competition.

• Weekly percentage scores will be added together to determine league bonus standings.

Scoring

• Each round is worth a maximum of 55 points.

• Round winners are the teams with the highest score for that round.

• Nightly winners are determined by the highest total score across all rounds.

Tournament Scoring

• Weekly scores earn 4–1 points based on the top 25% of scores.

• Higher scores benefit from uneven distribution.

Examples:

• 4 teams → 4, 3, 2, 1

• 5 teams → 4, 4, 3, 2, 1

• 6 teams → 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 1

• 7 teams → 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1

• 8 teams → 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1

• 9 teams → 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1

• Ties are broken by head-to-head record.

• Absence from a weekly competition results in zero points for that week.

Bonus Points

• Bonus points may be awarded at the host’s discretion.
